Seagate to launch wireless storage devices in india

Seagate a US based Hard-disk supplier has annonuced the two storage products in india, which provides automatic backup, and remote access from outside a home network.

Seagate Wireless Devices 

This devices are Designed to wirelessly stream content for up to eight smartphones ot tablets, the device aims to extent the limits of today's smartphones lifestyle, the concept of wireless storage has been developed by the company to give consumers freedom to enjoy their data, HD movies, photos and music anywhere in the world.

Seagate's Central product has been designed as an easy, and automatic backup for computer in home and even mixed with Windows and Mac OSX platform, it connects directly to your router via an Ethernet port or USB port, and comes in 2TB,3TB and 4TB storage options.

The company has priced Central with 2TB at Rs 10,500 3TB @ Rs.14,400 and 4TB @ Rs.17,700.

The other product Seagate Wirelss Plus comes with DLNA support and support wireless file upload via smartphone or PC, seagate also released a app for Android and iOS, the product supports 3 simultaneous video streams and a total of 8 Wi-Fi connection and it comes with USB 3.0 for fast support.

it's priced at Rs.16,000 for 1TB and Rs 11,500 for 500GB.
